“Our Certified Financial Education Instructors or CFEIs are an integral part of the overall success of LiSA Initiative. By preparing for and becoming certified through the NFEC, they are able to bring financial education to women and their families through community outreach.”
Debbie Gerlicher, LiSA Initiative
Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI)
Certified Financial Education Instructor or CFEI is a professional designation and license that allows people to provide financial literacy through community outreach. LiSA encourages First Financial Security associates, who meet certain requirements, to become CFEIs by taking the online course offered by the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC). Those who become certified through LiSA’s relationship with the NFEC are provided access to LiSA’s private-labeled financial literacy curriculum for adults and children.
LiSA CFEIs aim to take an active role in their communities as financial or money mentors. They encourage the people they teach to take stock of their financial situation and educate them about ways they can achieve financial security and the peace of mind that comes with it.
